About the Role
Every day, we go to work so that children and families in Klippan Municipality can receive support and help. Today, tomorrow, and in the future! The operations work to ensure that all children and young people grow up in good conditions and develop positively, and we aim to offer the best possible social services within given frameworks. We want to know the impact of our interventions and keep the child at the center of everything we do.

Responsibilities
In your role as a Child Secretary within the Foster Care Services, your primary task will be to monitor the care of children and young people placed in foster homes. In your daily work, you will ensure that placed children and young people have their needs and rights met.
You will meet with the child/young person continuously, conduct child interviews, safety assessments, and make decisions regarding contact/visitation. You will work to ensure that children placed away from their parents are involved in their own care and understand why they are placed. Furthermore, you will handle ongoing case documentation, review and reassess care plans, and participate in investigations conducted during the placement. You will have access to close supervisory support. The team consists of three Child Secretaries and two Foster Care Secretaries. Within the Foster Care Services in Klippan, there is a structured approach to ensure the care of children and young people placed in foster homes.
Qualifications
You hold a degree in Social Work or another qualification deemed equivalent by the employer, along with experience in investigations and interventions within social services, preferably with children and young people. Additionally, you have experience in authority decision-making and good knowledge of the laws governing work with placed children. Knowledge of BBIC (Baby Infant Child) and previous experience working with children placed outside their home environment are meritorious. You have good command of Swedish, both spoken and written, strong documentation skills, up-to-date knowledge of social legislation, and a valid driver's license (Category B).

You build relationships with placed children and collaborate well with biological parents, foster homes, and other significant adults in the child's life.
