About the workplace and role

We are now looking for a support assistant for one of our LSS residences in Södra Sandby, which is part of Lund Municipality and consists of both group and service housing. We are looking for you who preferably have previous experience with both LSS and psychiatry.

As a support assistant, you support our users with individually adapted support such as shopping, cooking, nursing care, and cleaning, as well as leisure activities. Through pedagogical support, alternative communication, and care, you and the work team work to provide users with good living conditions and independence.

We are looking for someone who is sensitive and flexible in picking up the users' individual needs. We would like you to thrive in a dynamic work environment with a strong focus on motivational work and user participation.

The duties also include designing implementation plans, documenting, and conducting regular evaluations. As a contact person, you will collaborate and communicate with parents, relatives, guardians/administrators, and colleagues. We also collaborate with the HSL organization in the municipality as well as psychiatry.

About us

Housing LSS is divided into 22 managerial areas. Each manager has two to three group or service residences in their area.

At our residences, support aides and support assistants work. There is a pedagogical coordinator per area who works with the holistic view and the quality of the pedagogical work. We also have support pedagogues who work close to the users while supervising employees. Additionally, coordinators, unit administrators, and licensed personnel work here.

At our residences, you will meet users with varying needs for support.

The work is scheduled during day/evening shifts, every other weekend, and night on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Approved grades from the Care and Nursing program, Child and Youth program, Society and Behavior, or other education that the employer deems equivalent are meritorious.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.
• Knowledge and experience of low-affective handling and clarifying pedagogy.
• Basic skills in digital work tools.
• Experience/knowledge of nursing care.
• Experience/knowledge of psychiatry.
• Driver's license required.
