About the position

Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (The Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the customer with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the customer's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The customer's individual needs dictate the workday, and the work may include help with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as daily chores and activities in and outside the home.

Our customer is an active young man, 35 years old, living in Simrishamn.

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the customer.

You are a cheerful, energetic, and curious person who likes to come up with new things.

Requirements for the position:

• Some relevant education within healthcare/care
• Category B driver's license, as assistants drive the customer's car
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good physical fitness
• Swimming skills

Merits for the position:

• Experience in similar work
• Experience with sign language/sign communication
• Shared interests with the customer, such as swimming and excursions.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Working hours, employment percentage, and salary

The current form of employment is "hourly employment," which means working as needed with varying hours during the day, evening, and night on weekdays and weekends. Working hours are 08:00-16:00 and 16:00-08:30 with 7.5 hours of on-call time at night.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other benefits occur according to collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately or according to agreement.
