As a Systems Engineer in Development Environments, you will become a key part of creating stable and efficient prerequisites for system development in a high-tech and safety-critical environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
In this role, you will contribute to solutions that create safety for people and communities. You will become part of a team that develops and delivers advanced systems with high demands for reliability, security, and performance.
As a Systems Engineer in Development Environments, you will work closely with both developers and other technical specialists to create the best possible prerequisites for efficient system development. You are responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining development environments and associated infrastructure. The role involves many interfaces and close collaboration with various functions, where you need to handle clear customer requirements and contribute to a constructive dialogue.
The work takes place in high-security environments, which means you will primarily work on-site together with your colleagues.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, deploy, and maintain development environments.
- Ensure stable and efficient infrastructure for development teams.
- Work with Linux-based systems and virtualization solutions.
- Collaborate with developers and other technical roles to improve methods and environments.
- Manage and adapt solutions based on customer and security requirements.
- Contribute to improvements and efficiency gains in processes and tools.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:
- Have a university degree in computer science, technical physics, or a similar field.
- Have basic experience working with development environments and associated infrastructure.
- Have knowledge of Linux and virtualization (e.g., KVM).
- Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN, or CVS).
- Skills in scripting, such as Bash or Python.
- Experience with CI/CD and automated build flows (e.g., Jenkins or GitLab).
As a person, you are curious, driven, and take initiative. You have a positive attitude, thrive in collaboration with others, and are good at building relationships. The role requires responsibility and good communication skills, as you work in an environment with many interfaces and high quality standards.
ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:
This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday. The position requires a completed and approved security clearance before starting.
