Are you an IT Project Manager with experience in Kanban and AI? Then you've found the right place.

The client is looking for an IT Project Manager who can start and onboard before the summer holiday begins, to then hit the ground running in August. The client is building a brand new on-prem AI platform. The platform runs on a GPU cluster in Sweden, with strict separation of data, users, and applications. A few applications are already in use in the nuclear power units. More are in active delivery across three small teams working in parallel.

This is not a new planning exercise. It is an ongoing "program" with real users, active stakeholders, and a mix of high-level and low-level backlog — it requires a Kanban-driven delivery structure and a leader who focuses on that.

This is a 6-month consulting assignment located in Solna. Maximum 2 days of remote work is allowed.

Job Description

Own project management from start to finish: goals, budget, and timeline, as well as quality over a portfolio of 12+ AI use cases.

Establish and own a Kanban board as the primary tool for delivery management — visualize ongoing work for all team members and 12+ use cases (manage the flow and ensure blockers are identified and resolved quickly).

Coordinate three delivery units (A, B, C) — six AI engineers to start with — with Kanban as the primary workflow framework.

Facilitate cadences: daily stand-ups, replenishment meetings, flow reviews, etc.

Manage a diverse stakeholder landscape spanning five business units (FKA, RAB, SKB, BAG, KSU), an infrastructure architect, IT security, and a nuclear IT architecture board (NITAB).

Translate requirements (with full support from team members) into actionable tasks on the Kanban board, ensuring teams work closely with product owners and managers per use case.

Track and communicate progress against a rolling roadmap for use case deliveries.

Adapt reporting cadence to Project StreeCo.

Coordinate regularly with the Delivery Manager.

Ensure the initiative meets regulatory and security governance requirements, including ISMS 1042 and security review cycles.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably in an environment with multiple stakeholders
• Proven Kanban knowledge and skills — you understand flow metrics, can design and run a Kanban for a set of multiple small teams, and know how to drive real delivery improvements.
• Strong stakeholder management skills; ability to translate between business expectations and reality across multiple business units
• Comfortable working with some ambiguity and lack of structure — this role requires a self-starter who does not wait to be told what to do (receives guidance, advice, and delegated tasks from the Delivery Manager – right hand for the assignment)
• Experience in regulated, security-sensitive, or nuclear IT environments
• Experience with AI or platform delivery projects
• Fluent English; Swedish is definitely an advantage as we are talking about an English-speaking team and primarily Swedish stakeholders
