About the role As a Project Manager (internly referred to as Sub-project Manager), you will become part of a section consisting of other project managers. The section's mission is to staff the organization's projects and product programs with strong leaders. You will work in a central product program for our client, where you lead engineers in projects related to electromechanical products with a very high software content. The role is project-focused and operational – you lead people in their delivery rather than having line or personnel responsibility. The work involves a mix of hardware leadership, test leadership, system-close leadership, and work related to after-sales, making the role both varied and developmental. Since the organization has a large software section, it is important that you have an agile and software-oriented mindset, even if you do not code yourself. You collaborate closely with other project managers, lead project managers, technical project managers, as well as software, hardware, and test teams. Responsibilities

• Lead engineers in technical development and improvement projects
• Work as a sub-project manager in larger projects and product programs
• Facilitate project meetings and coordinate work between different disciplines
• Conduct one-on-one conversations with project participants
• Work with scheduling, follow-up, and delivery
• Collaborate closely with software teams and work according to agile principles
• Contribute to structure and progress in complex system environments

• Experience working as a project manager or in a corresponding leadership role
• Experience leading engineers in technical projects
• Good understanding of software-oriented development and/or agile ways of working
• Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing

The assignment is classified. Prior to employment, you are required to undergo a security clearance check and be approved according to current security protection regulations. This may entail requirements for certain citizenship. Preferred qualifications

• Background as a Scrum Master, agile coach, or project manager in software-intensive environments
• Experience in system development, test leadership, or system integration
• Experience from defense, high technology, or other complex product development
• Technical background in areas such as IT, systems, electrical engineering, or similar
