Your Role

In this role, you will join an agile development team with overall responsibility for a product that is a central part of the agency's intelligence production. The team is responsible for designing, further developing, and maintaining the entire stack.

The team collaborates closely with end-users within the signals intelligence departments as well as other technical teams within production.

You are expected to participate actively in knowledge transfer, but also take personal initiative for your own development. Through training, conferences, and independent monitoring of the external environment, we keep up to date with the latest technology. Together, we evaluate and share insights.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

  • A university degree in computer science, systems science, or equivalent, or alternatively acquired equivalent competence through work experience.
  • Experience as a software developer (Java or equivalent) in a complex Linux environment.
  • Experience working in teams with modern CI/CD and release flows.
  • Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

The following experience is also considered meritorious for the position:

  • Knowledge/experience with React or similar frameworks.
  • Knowledge/experience with Kubernetes-based environments.
  • Knowledge/experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
  • Knowledge/experience with Quarkus, Spring, or equivalent.

More Information

The workplace is located near Drottningholm, approximately 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security classification. Before employment, you will undergo a security check in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment entails an obligation to be war-placed.
