Senior Structural Engineer Wanted at Wolfbuilder – On-Demand Employment

Wolfbuilder is looking for an experienced and independent Senior Structural Engineer for on-demand employment. We are a construction company focused on quality, long-term sustainability, and customized solutions for private clients, businesses, and public buyers.

We are looking for someone with solid experience in structural engineering within the construction industry who can support us as needed in various projects. This role is suitable for consultants, self-employed professionals, retired engineers, or those looking to work part-time alongside another job.

About the Role

As a Senior Structural Engineer at Wolfbuilder, you will serve as a technical support resource in our construction projects. You may assist with structural solutions, assessments, drawing documentation, technical calculations, and advice in both small and large-scale projects.

The work is performed on an as-needed basis, and the scope may vary depending on the project, workload, and client assignments.

Examples of Responsibilities

You may be involved in tasks such as:

• Structural assessments in construction projects
• Creation or review of structural drawings
• Technical solutions for renovations, extensions, and remodeling
• Load-bearing structures in wood, steel, and concrete
• Advising project managers, site supervisors, and craftsmen
• Communication with architects, designers, responsible controllers, and other consultants
• Support with building permits, technical consultations, and regulatory requirements

We are looking for someone who

Has several years of experience as a structural engineer in construction and feels confident taking responsibility for technical assessments. You are meticulous, solution-oriented, and accustomed to working independently.

We prefer that you have:

• Relevant education in structural engineering, building technology, or equivalent experience
• Experience with structural calculations and technical drawings
• Good knowledge of Swedish building regulations and industry standards
• Experience with renovations, remodeling, and customized construction projects
• Ability to communicate clearly with both clients and production teams
• Availability to work on assignments as needed

Experience with small houses, villas, exclusive private residences, cultural buildings, or complex renovation projects is a plus.

Employment Type

On-demand employment / hourly wage.

The scope of assignments varies based on Wolfbuilder's needs and current projects. Work can sometimes be done remotely, but site visits in the Stockholm area may occur.
