Job Description

We are now looking for four care assistants for our LSS housing in Sandsbro – three to Minnesotavägen and one to Toftagården.

The operations are conducted in accordance with the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and are aimed at eight care recipients who need an adapted physical environment as well as care, activation, and stimulation in their daily lives. Many of them are elderly and require both physical and social support. The facility has common areas that enable activation and social interaction, with the aim of preserving abilities and creating a sense of community.

As a care assistant, you work to provide individually adapted support in the daily lives of the care recipients based on their individual needs and implementation plans.

We are looking for you who want to become part of an engaged work group consisting of care assistants, organized into two work teams, as well as night staff. In our operations, we place great emphasis on collaboration, continuous journal documentation, and regular workplace meetings to jointly create a good working environment and the best possible quality of life for the care recipients.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, you must have a completed education from the Care and Nursing Program, the Child and Leisure Program, a nursing education with an additional specialization, a caretaker education, or a childcare education of at least two years. Alternatively, other education that the employer deems equivalent, such as a behavioral science or pedagogical education of at least 120 higher education credits.

The work requires you to be responsible, team-oriented, and engaged, as well as confident in your professional role. You have a professional attitude and the ability to work both independently and with others. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as basic computer skills.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience working with people with different intellectual levels, autism, severe intellectual disabilities, as well as physical disabilities. Experience with somatic care, end-of-life care, and epilepsy is seen as particularly advantageous.

We view it positively if you have experience working with people, preferably within LSS or related operations.
