The Employment and Social Security Unit is organized under the Department of Work and Welfare. The department consists of the municipality's adult education, individual and family care, and the Employment and Social Security Unit.
The Employment and Social Security Unit is tasked with driving and coordinating employment issues, financial assistance, and integration matters. Our common goal is for more municipal residents to enter employment, studies, or activity.
We are now looking for a Coordinator focusing on health issues. The assignment involves working with individuals who need coordinated support where various forms of ill health, life situations, and practical obstacles affect the possibility of self-sufficiency.
As a coordinator, you are responsible for creating structure around the individual's planning and coordinating contacts between different actors, such as healthcare, social services, and labor market measures. The work involves mapping the individual's needs and conditions, identifying obstacles, and supporting the timely implementation of the right interventions. You support the individual in understanding and managing contacts with authorities and other actors, as well as following up on interventions and progress over time.
The role involves acting as a cohesive link when multiple actors are involved. The work covers both individual support and coordination, with a focus on creating conditions for the individual to take the next step in their planning.
The work is carried out in close collaboration with, for example, social secretaries, healthcare providers, and other internal and external partners. The assignment also includes contributing to the development of working methods by identifying recurring needs, highlighting obstacles in collaboration, and contributing to more cohesive and effective interventions.
We are looking for you who are a behavioral scientist, social worker, or have another equivalent university education. We would appreciate it if you have experience working in social work, financial assistance, labor market activities, healthcare, or a similar field. It is an advantage if you have experience coordinating between the municipality and other actors and have a good understanding of the processes governing work capacity and the path to self-sufficiency.
To succeed in the role, we see that you have a good ability to create and maintain professional relationships. You are structured and have the ability to manage several parallel processes, and you work independently and take responsibility for your tasks. You are flexible and can adapt your working method based on the situation and needs.
Personal suitability will be given great weight.
Note: Continuous selection will be made during the application period.
Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent.
Working hours: Daytime.
