The Church of Sweden in Växjö has approximately 53,000 members across 11 parishes in both urban and rural areas. Together, we are about 230 employees, a hundred elected officials, and a large number of volunteers working towards our vision: A living church. Close to life. Every day.

We are now looking for you who want to work as a priest in the Southern area of the Växjö parish. Here you have the opportunity to combine the idyllic Småland countryside with a growing city. You will meet active work teams and volunteers who cherish a rich parish life where prayer and work are clearly connected. In several of our parishes, there is positive population growth, and we have well-attended parish activities.

• serve as a priest in both urban and rural settings.

Your main responsibilities:

Worship services and church ceremonies, daily activities for different age groups, devotions at nursing homes, and confirmation groups.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are ordained as a priest in the Church of Sweden. You thrive with priestly duties and enjoy developing the work together with others. You create engagement and participation and find it easy to establish and maintain good contacts. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and that you are open to cooperation across professional boundaries.

Job details: Permanent position, 100%

Class B driver's license. Access to a personal car.
