RESPONSIBILITIES

Now you have the chance to become part of the Child and Family Department! We are looking for a Social Secretary for the Support and Investigation Team 0-12 years. You will be responsible for issues concerning children and young people at risk, children and young people who are suffering, those in need of support, as well as parents who need support in their parenting role or in cooperation with the other parent. The assignment consists of preventive and early interventions, investigations into the individual's needs according to current legislation, as well as the establishment and follow-up of support and treatment measures.

The role also involves collaboration, both internally and externally. You will have close support from the manager, specialists, and other team members. We offer competence development and continuous supervision. The duties include responsibility for documentation and official decision-making according to current legislation, as well as conversations with children and parents. The work in Child and Family is permeated by the approaches and tools within Signs of Safety.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a degree in Social Work and good knowledge of current legislation. You should have professional experience in social work concerning children and young people. You should have a good ability to work independently in all parts concerning case handling and development, as well as an ease in collaborating with others and building trusting relationships. Documentation and investigation are an important part of your work, so you also need good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, and computer literacy. Since we work according to Signs of Safety, we consider it desirable if you have knowledge and experience in this area. Experience of investigation or treatment work within individual and family care is meritorious.

A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.
