Job Responsibilities

As a special educator/special teacher, you are an important member of the student health team at Fridlevstadskolan and Tving School. The student health service's main focus is to work in a health-promoting manner for all students' learning, with a special focus on preventive and promoting measures. These can be school-wide, class-based, or individualized.

You work closely with the school counselor, school nurse, and principal in the student health team to find solutions that can facilitate learning for students in need of special support. You will also have a close colleague in the existing special educator at Holmsjö School.

The special educator/special teacher is responsible for the establishment, implementation, and evaluation of pedagogical mappings and investigations, as well as action plans. The work involves frequent contact with students in need of special support, their guardians, the students' class and subject teachers, the student health team, and school management.

Qualifications

• Degree from an educational program specializing in special education or special teaching
• Experience as a primary school teacher is advantageous
• Good pedagogical skills and an inclusive approach
