Your Role

We are now looking for a Technical Writer with a focus on the registration of basic and maintenance data (GoF) to join our team in Lund.

In this role, you are responsible for registering, updating, and quality-assuring data according to established processes and guidelines. The information you handle is a crucial part of the management of equipment and resources within the Swedish Armed Forces and is essential for ensuring an efficient and reliable operation.

You work in close collaboration with project teams, internal functions, and customers, where you collect, verify, and ensure that correct information is registered in our systems. The role requires high attention to detail, structure, and a quality-conscious approach, while also thriving in a collaborative environment.

Examples of tasks:

• Register, update, and classify basic and maintenance data in current systems
• Collect, verify, and fill in data from datasheets, manuals, drawing databases, and other systems.
• Interview product owners, project managers, and other experts to complete missing information.
• Update and maintain our databases and Excel lists with correct product information.
• Follow up on registration cases with classifiers and answer their questions with clear and complete information.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of our internal routines and processes for article data.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is structured and has a strong quality mindset, with an eye for detail and the ability to work systematically. You are curious and enjoy learning new things, while also having the ability to plan and prioritize your work.

You thrive in collaboration with others, communicate clearly, and contribute to a positive team climate – while also taking personal responsibility and feeling comfortable working independently.

To succeed in the role, we believe you:

• Have a technical degree or equivalent work experience in technology
• Have experience with information management and working in databases
• Fluently speak and write Swedish and have good knowledge of English

Meritorious experience

• Basic understanding of military structures and processes
• Experience with PLM systems, such as Teamcenter
• Experience with NATO codification
• Training in the registration and handling of spare parts data

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
