Are you curious about how workflows, metadata, and processes interconnect? Do you enjoy thinking outside the box, challenging existing methods, and driving development forward? Furthermore, do you want to take on a leadership role where development, collaboration, and innovation are in focus?
We are now looking for an acting Team Leader for Bibliographic Services. Here, you will become part of an engaged team with knowledgeable and passionate colleagues who work with creating and delivering metadata services to libraries.
About the role
As Team Leader for Bibliographic Services, you lead and distribute the daily work within the team, which consists of experienced catalogers with a strong commitment to their mission. You are responsible for ensuring our services are delivered with high quality and according to set deadlines, while also contributing to the further development of the operations.
We are in an exciting phase of development where we want to think anew regarding working methods, processes, and systems. Here, you will be a key driver in the change process. You lead the team through development and improvement with a focus on collaboration, participation, and sustainable working methods – as well as dialogue and conversations with customers to create value.
The role also involves project work, implementation of new services, and development of our working methods and processes. There are great opportunities to contribute to change and development, focusing on how data, systems, and processes can interact in smarter ways for future bibliographic services.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have relevant education and experience working with metadata or cataloging. If you have experience with cataloging in Libris and understanding of bibliographic regulations, we consider this an advantage.
You have a genuine interest in metadata, AI, technical solutions, and language.
To thrive and succeed in the role, we believe you:
- are structured and solution-oriented
- are curious and dare to challenge existing working methods
- enjoy understanding how processes, data, and systems interconnect
- have an interest in digitalization and business development
- are confident in collaboration with customers and partners and have a professional and business-minded approach
- have the ability to prioritize, create structure, and meet deadlines
- thrive in change processes and can lead colleagues in an engaged and goal-oriented manner
You are detail-oriented, see technical systems as an opportunity, and enjoy delving deep to understand how things work. We would appreciate it if you had good digital competence and experience with or interest in AI and new technical solutions.
At our company, we value being professional, personal, and passionate – and we believe these values reflect both your working style and your leadership.
What we offer
