Do you want to drive and develop the Baltic Sea region's largest biofuel organization with the ambition to be better than yesterday – every day? Then this could be the next step in your career! We are now looking for a business-driven and secure leader who wants to continue developing and future-proofing our bioenergy operations in Götaland-Närke.
With us, the forest, the people, and the business grow.
Our mission within the bioenergy function is to supply the internal organization with competitive raw materials, sell by-products, increase the availability of raw materials on the market, and deliver profitability.
As Supply Area Manager, you are responsible for leading, developing, and strengthening our business in Southern Sweden together with Marketing & Sales and Sourcing (services). The role entails overall responsibility for strategic raw material purchases, biofuel flows, and the area's results.
You work closely with our largest raw material suppliers and are an active part of the function's management group, where you contribute broadly to matters concerning the development and direction of the business.
You lead the operations through three direct reports. Together, you form an engaged team of 11 employees, maintaining a continuous dialogue to ensure well-founded and wise decisions every time. The way of working is characterized by efficiency, sustainability, and quality, supporting the overarching goals set by the function management group.
The role is both strategic and operational with a clear focus on leadership and change management, business, efficient flows, and a strong safety culture.
The office location is flexible at one of our offices within Götaland-Närke, and travel is involved. The position reports to the Director of Bioenergy.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who are genuinely curious about your external environment, business-driven, and courageous in your leadership. You are a team player who values collaboration highly and has a natural ability to build trusting relationships at all levels of the organization.
You want to take responsibility and drive the development of the Southern Supply Area during a time characterized by change and new opportunities. You thrive in an environment where business acumen, relationship building, and development-oriented leadership go hand in hand.
With your analytical ability and sensitivity to the perspectives of your surroundings, you can turn insights into clear decisions and powerful action.
Skills and qualifications we believe you have:
- Relevant university education and work experience in the field or similar roles. Experience from sales, forestry, or the energy sector is advantageous.
- Experience in leadership and change management within operational activities with budget and profit responsibility.
- Ability to balance a results focus with strong relationship building.
- Good digital competence with experience working in various systems and tools.
- Valid driver's license (Category B).
What we offer
Here, you become part of our diversity-promoting work culture that helps you explore new perspectives and develop professionally. Together with your colleagues, you will contribute to a more sustainable world, as we believe that everything made from fossil-based materials today can be made from a tree tomorrow. To ensure your safety at work, we support your physical and mental well-being.
How can you apply for this position?
You can only submit your application to us through our recruitment system. As we review applications on an ongoing basis, we hope to hear from you as soon as possible, but no later than June 28.
