About the Position
1 position (temporary)
Daytime activities are a measure under the LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) that offers meaningful occupation, development, and social community based on each participant's needs and wishes.
We are now looking for an employee for a temporary position in the Garden Groups at Daytime Activities, Hjalmar Brantings väg. The operation is large and has several directions, including Garden/Fix, Härslöv Group, Creative Reuse, and Carpentry.
Your Responsibilities
As a supervisor, you work both in groups and individually. You are proactive in creating participation and independence for the participants. In the role of support assistant/support educator, you work with a pedagogical approach, planning and implementing support measures and activities that promote the participants' development.
We work in a solution-focused manner and strive to inspire participants to an active daily life. The work requires collaboration with colleagues, housing staff, and other professions. The operation is dynamic, meaning groups and assignments may vary depending on the participants' needs. You are expected to contribute competence and be proactive in method and quality development.
In this position, you will work within two of our garden groups, with varying placement during the week. The work involves practical gardening and landscaping work in various environments around the city of Landskrona. The main placement is at Landskrona Idrottsplats and its surrounding green areas.
Your tasks include, among other things:
- Mowing and garden maintenance.
- Cultivation work.
- Pruning of trees and bushes.
- Watering and general maintenance of green spaces.
- Service tasks such as transporting materials and simple furniture.
The work is carried out in close collaboration with several different actors within the municipality.
Qualifications
- Upper secondary education within the nursing program or child and youth studies.
- Post-secondary education, university college, or higher education with a focus on the disability area is preferred.
- Experience of working within the disability area.
- Interest and knowledge in gardening, as well as practical experience in gardening/landscaping.
- Pedagogical ability and patience to guide both in gardening work and in social situations.
- Ability to adapt interaction based on individual needs.
- Advantageous: Knowledge of low-arousal approach (lågaffektivt bemötande).
- Confident in the role of supervisor, professional, and engaged.
- Good collaborative skills and experience in planning and structuring operations together with colleagues.
- Computer literacy (documentation is done in Life Care).
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Category B driver's license is required; experience driving with a trailer is preferred.
Personal suitability is of great importance.
Terms of Employment
- Salary: Monthly salary.
- Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
- Duration: 3–6 months.
- Working hours: Daytime, Monday to Friday.
