RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to work closely with students and contribute to their academic and social development? Do you thrive in a role where relationships, structure, and collaboration are crucial for creating a safe school environment?

The role of social pedagogue at Emiliaskolan involves working to create a safe and inclusive learning environment for our students throughout the day. You will work with students in various ways during the school day, as well as at the after-school center when the school day ends. The work consists of supporting students in teaching contexts, in social interaction with peers and adults, and working proactively and preventively with the school's learning environment. This can take place in the classroom, at the after-school center, or in a flexible group/special education group.

The work includes, among other things:

• contributing to creating a safe and developmental learning environment for students who face greater challenges than others.
• leading activities/teaching both during school and after-school hours.
• providing students with structure and practical support, as well as helping them increase their independence.
• conversing with students and their guardians.
• working with core values issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

Competencies

• Educated as a social pedagogue
• Experience working with children aged 6-9
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Experience working with children with neurodevelopmental disorders (npf) is meritorious. Another merit is other courses or education that can support the work, for example, PECS (TAKK).
