Jefferson Wells is recruiting junior operational buyers for consultancy assignments with leading companies in the high-tech industry and development sector in the Linköping region. Here, you will work in operations where material supply and purchasing flows are directly linked to technologically advanced products and long-term projects. This role is ideal for you who want to develop in an environment with high demands for accuracy, traceability, and collaboration.

Please note that the position requires you to undergo and pass a security clearance.

As a junior operational buyer, you work closely with production, planning, and development. You are responsible for daily purchasing flows and ensure that the right materials are in place at the right time – often for projects with high demands on quality and documentation. You will gain insight into technologically advanced products and quickly learn how purchasing impacts the entire chain from development to delivery.

Your tasks may include:

• Placing orders and order confirmations for technical components and materials
• Delivery monitoring and exception handling related to critical project deliveries
• Material planning based on forecasts, production plans, and project needs
• Ongoing supplier contacts, both nationally and internationally
• Updating item data, prices, and supplier information in business systems
• Support in simple price negotiations and recurring purchases
• Documentation management and traceability in security-critical environments
• Contributing to improvement work within purchasing processes and routines

We are looking for someone who is structured, detail-oriented, and thrives in technologically advanced environments. You enjoy having many contact points, handling details, and contributing to keeping projects running smoothly.

We would appreciate if you have:

• Post-secondary education in purchasing, logistics, engineering, economics, or equivalent
• Experience in operational purchasing, order management, or material planning is an advantage
• Interest in technology and complex products
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English
• Experience with business systems and Excel

As a person, you are unpretentious, solution-oriented, and quick to adapt to new systems and ways of working.
