We are looking for someone who loves concrete!
Do you want to combine technology, business, and customer relations? Thomas Betong is now looking for a Technical Sales Representative who wants to develop and strengthen the market in the district from Uppsala to Södertälje.
About the role
As a Technical Sales Representative at Thomas Betong, you play a key role responsible for both sales and technical advice within the concrete industry. You work closely with customers throughout all phases of the project – from quotation and specification to delivery and follow-up. Our customers range from large infrastructure projects to private driveway entrances, and you will contribute throughout the entire process, with the main focus on larger contractors and major projects.
You drive sales forward while ensuring that the right product and solution are used for each project.
You will become part of our four-person strong sales team, based out of our regional office in Stäket, Järfalla Municipality. There is excellent collaboration within the region and high competence, providing great conditions for creating good solutions for our customers – a collaborative spirit known as "Team Thomas".
Your responsibilities
- Actively work broadly with the sale of concrete, primarily to contractors and construction companies
- Manage customer relations and develop existing accounts
- Identify and proactively process new business opportunities in the district
- Provide technical advice regarding concrete selection, usage, and solutions
- Prepare quotations and follow up on deals
- Coordinate deliveries together with production and logistics
- Be involved in projects from planning to implementation
We are looking for you who
- We believe you currently work either within the concrete industry, or in a leading position on a construction site and have an understanding of concrete's role in the construction process
- Experience in technical sales, preferably within construction, civil engineering, or industry, or alternatively a technical background in concrete/construction and a desire to work more commercially, is meritorious
- Are business-driven, self-motivated, and have a strong customer focus
- Thrives in a role with significant responsibility and freedom
- Have good communication skills and build long-term relationships
- Hold a valid driver's license (Category B)
Meritorious
- Experience from the concrete industry or related materials
- Understanding of construction processes and contracting projects
- Experience working in CRM or business systems
