Jakobs Stege Byggnads AB is a construction and contracting company based in Stockholm. We are now looking for a site supervisor who is also a working carpenter, as we are growing and need to strengthen our projects with a person who can lead the work forward while also being involved in production. Over time, the work will increasingly focus on supervision.

You will work primarily on construction sites in Ekerö and sometimes from the office in Hägersten. You will be responsible for a team of approximately 10–12 people and play a key role in creating structure, safety, and progress in the projects. You will collaborate closely with colleagues, clients, and other professional roles on the construction site.

As a site supervisor, you will, among other things:

• Work practically as a carpenter in the projects.
• Hold morning briefings with the team every day.
• Participate in base meetings and construction meetings.
• Ensure that materials, clothing, and tools are available on site.
• Support the ordering of materials.
• Work with occupational health and safety issues together with management and ensure that regulations are followed.
• Maintain ongoing contact with the client.

Areas of Responsibility:

You are responsible for driving the work forward according to the schedule. You are responsible for handling deviations and ÄTA (additional work) tasks, as well as ensuring that communication with the customer functions well. Safety is an important part of the role, and you ensure that everyone on the site works according to current regulations.

Desired Profile:

• At least 5 years of experience as a site supervisor as a construction carpenter.
• Experienced carpenter.
• Good ability to read drawings.
• BAS P & U certification.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Good technical skills and experience working with tablets and mobile devices.
• Experience with systems for drawings and ÄTA management.

Other Information:

Start: As soon as possible. Working hours: 07:00–16:00. Location: Worksite in the Stockholm area, and sometimes the office in Hägersten. Employment type: Full-time, permanent with a 6-month probation period.
