Our client is currently looking for a Project Manager for their operations in Stockholm. For the right candidate, there is a clear development path towards the role of Site Manager/Branch Manager.

About the Company

The company is a family-owned construction firm with roots dating back to the 1980s–90s and a strong reputation in the industry. The operations specialize in facade renovation, traditional plastering and masonry, as well as the restoration of culturally and historically valuable buildings.

The company works with:

• Traditional plastering and masonry
• Facade renovations
• Restoration of culturally and historically significant (K-listed) buildings
• Advanced masonry and craftsmanship projects
• Cultural heritage care using traditional materials and methods

Projects range from smaller contracts to larger projects with turnovers up to 20 million SEK. The Stockholm operations cover the entire Greater Stockholm area.

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will play a central role in the business, responsible for several parallel projects, typically between 5–10 simultaneously. The role offers significant freedom under responsibility and a broad scope ranging from costing and planning to execution, follow-up, and customer relations.

You will be responsible for, among other things:

• Leading and driving projects from start to finish
• Managing the economy, schedule, and quality of projects
• Participating in costing and tendering work
• Coordinating staff, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Building and developing relationships with customers and partners
• Contributing to the continued development of the business

Since you will eventually step into the role of Site Manager/Branch Manager, you will also grow into responsibilities such as:

• Overall responsibility for all personnel on site, ensuring everyone is aware of their rights and obligations according to current regulations.
• Control over the company’s equipment and machinery located within the site office area.
• Market development, sales, delivery, and after-sales service.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for you who have experience in a leadership role within the construction industry, for example as:

• Project Manager
• Site Manager
• Project Director
• Construction Manager
• Contracting Engineer with project responsibility

Experience in masonry or plastering contracts is not a requirement. The most important thing is that you have a good understanding of construction production and are driven by developing both projects and people. The company takes a long-term view on recruitment and is prepared to train the right person in the company's specialist areas.

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• ROT projects
• Culturally or historically significant buildings
• Facade contracting
