About the role
We are looking for two Payroll Administrators for a government agency in Norrköping that aims to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing for all employees. In this role, you are responsible for the payroll process up to the payroll run and work closely with colleagues in the payroll department. Together, you handle payroll payments, reporting, and provide support regarding payroll-related questions.
The work involves ongoing handling of payroll-related matters such as expense reports, absence, and minor corrections. You ensure that the data used for payroll runs is correct and contribute with controls and some system support. The role also includes supporting the organization in matters concerning salaries and benefits.
The role includes, among other things, the following tasks:
- Process and check payroll data
- Generate payroll lists
- Generate reports and statistics
- Report taxes and employer contributions
- Compile time and absence reports
- Answer questions from employees (e.g., regarding salary and vacation)
- Perform calculations and corrections
- Daily management and leadership of operations
Contract period and scope
The position is a full-time consulting assignment, starting on 2026-08-17, and is expected to last for approximately 9 months, with the possibility of extension up to 24 months. The scope may vary depending on the organization's needs.
Requirements for the role:
- Vocational education (YH) or similar within payroll
- At least three (3) years of work experience as a payroll administrator
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Good knowledge of payroll systems
- Good knowledge of accounting systems
- Good knowledge of collective agreements
- Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing
- Provide reference assignments from one (1) similar assignment carried out within the last five (5) years of corresponding nature and scope
- Be available for a digital interview on 2026-06-22

Please note that this assignment is security classified, as the agency conducts security-sensitive operations. Therefore, a security clearance, including a background check, will be conducted on the final candidate. The candidate will also undergo a security investigation.
