About the Job
We are looking for you who have experience as a therapist for a project on complicated grief and psilocybin.
This placebo-controlled, double-blind clinical study is conducted at Linköping University and investigates whether psilocybin can facilitate adaptation to loss by affecting the serotonin system and neural plasticity.
The work will include:
- Preparatory conversations before the psychedelic sessions
- Presence during the psychedelic sessions
- Psychotherapeutic conversations after the session
- Responsibility for the therapeutic part of the study in collaboration with the therapy team
- Continuous updating and further development of the therapeutic manual
- Recruitment of participants to medical studies and performing simpler tasks during behavioral experiments may also be included in the duties.
About You
We are looking for someone who is meticulous, has strong initiative, and a well-developed communication skill. As you will be working in an international environment, very good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is required.
Furthermore, you are responsible, engaged, and capable of working independently while also having good collaboration skills. Since the work involves contact with research patients in medical studies, it is important that you have an empathetic approach and are calm and stable as a person. You should have experience handling information subject to confidentiality.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and suitability.
We want you to have:
- A doctoral degree in psychology, psychotherapy, or a related field
- Experience in psychotherapeutic work within psychedelic therapy, especially with grief patients
- Experience in clinical drug trials including certification in Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
- Experience with behavioral tasks within psychological research
- Experience in developing therapeutic manuals
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience in student supervision and scientific publication

About the Employment
The employment is a fixed-term position at 50% for one year.
