We are now looking for Support Assistants who want to contribute to the development taking place within our Group Homes in the Department for Functional Support in Sundbyberg Municipality.

Short information about the operations we are recruiting for

Solskiftet Group Home is located in Rissne. The group home is surrounded by a beautiful garden with fruit trees and bushes. There are currently 4 residents at Solskiftet. This is a relatively new operation where we are looking for people who want to help build a world-class operation!

Ursvik 1 is a Group Home located in a newly built residential area in Ursvik along Gamla Enköpingsvägen. There are currently 5 residents at Ursvik 1. The operation works closely with the individual with a high staff density and individually tailored support. Here we are looking for you who see that increased independence in small steps can lead to significant development for the individual.

Ursvik 2 is a Group Home located in the same residential area as Ursvik 1.

There are currently 5 residents at Ursvik 2. The operation has a high staff density and works with the individual in focus. The operation has recently started using the digital operation system "Boet" which both simplifies the workflow and increases participation and influence for the residents.

The Positions

Ursvik 1: 1 Permanent position, full-time (probation may apply). Start date immediately or by agreement.

Ursvik 2: 1 Permanent position, full-time (probation may apply). Start date immediately or by agreement.

Solskiftet: 1 Permanent position, full-time (probation may apply). Start date 2026-09-01 or by agreement.

2 Fixed-term positions, full-time (6 months with possibility of extension and/or permanent employment). Start date immediately or by agreement.

Your tasks will primarily involve providing practical and pedagogical support, mainly given in the individual's home and in the local area (but the support can also be provided elsewhere if the individual has a need for it). We work based on the individual's needs and constantly strive to fulfill the individual's wishes and dreams. The work is also guided by a public authority mandate with set goals and the individual's implementation plan.

As a Support Assistant within the Department for Functional Support, you are a carrier of Sundbyberg Municipality's vision, value base, and values. You shall work pedagogically and individually adapted, by coaching, supporting, and being present in all moments and activities concerning the resident and as the resident desires, from this, the need for support can be given in situations that are performed outdoors and/or are physically demanding.

We want you to have care education with a focus on disability, preferably support assistant education or other education that the employer deems equivalent. If you have additional education in autism or psychiatry, this is meritorious.

Other desirable merits are:

• Knowledge and experience of working with low-affective approaches, including tools such as AAC, TEACCH, and other pedagogical methods.
• Previous experience of working structured according to clear routines.
• Previous handling of problem-causing and challenging behavior based on risk assessments and action plans.
