We are now looking for 3 Employment Coaches who want to develop this important work together with us.

About the Role

As an Employment Coach, you work practically and individually with people who need support to approach the labor market. You coach, motivate, and follow up with participants in activities aimed at strengthening the individual's prerequisites for work, studies, or other sustainable transitions.

The role involves working closely with the participant both individually and in groups, as well as in collaboration with JobbCenter's labor market consultants, social services, and other partners.

The work is about creating structure, building trust, clarifying expectations, and supporting the individual in concrete steps forward.

Your Responsibilities

You will, among other things:

  • Coach, motivate, and strengthen participants in their path towards work, studies, or other activities.
  • Help participants create routines regarding time, attendance, planning, and responsibility.
  • Support participants and receiving workplaces during activities, work training, internships, or other work-oriented measures.
  • Follow up on participant attendance, progress, motivation, and support needs, documenting this in a legally secure and structured manner.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone with a genuine commitment to people and who believes in every individual's potential for development. You are confident in meeting people with different experiences, prerequisites, and support needs.

You have an easy time building relationships but can also be clear about boundaries, expectations, and responsibilities. You must be able to motivate, support, and follow up with participants even when development happens in small steps.

This role suits you if you enjoy working practically, focusing on solutions, and being close to both individuals and workplaces. You are skilled at collaborating with colleagues, other workplaces, authorities, and other actors.

Qualifications

You have a completed education at least at the upper secondary level, as well as competence and experience in one or more of the following areas: Social Work, Behavioral Science, Pedagogy, Labor Market, Treatment, Coaching, or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent.

Navigating digital systems and the Office environment comes naturally to you.

We require a valid Category B driver's license.

Meritorious experience:

  • Working with people who are somewhat distant from the labor market, receive social assistance, have health issues, disabilities, substance abuse issues, criminal records, language barriers, or other support needs.
  • Work within municipal labor market activities, internships, work training, or workplace-based measures.
  • Motivational interviewing, Supported Employment, solution-focused approaches, or similar methods.

Employment Terms

Type of Employment: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent.

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) must be presented before employment due to the nature of the work.
