We are now looking for an Employment Consultant with a clearly outward-facing role, where your main task will be to create and develop collaborations with employers and find work-integrated placements for our participants.

About the role

We are looking for you who have a strong commitment to people, labor market issues, and social benefit. You have a good ability to build relationships with colleagues, other workplaces, authorities, and other actors, and you see the team around the individual as crucial for success.

In this role, you become a key link between the individual's prerequisites and the workplace's opportunities. You work actively and proactively to broaden JobbCenter's network. You collaborate with companies, municipal operations, associations, and other employers, identify needs, and build relationships that can create pathways forward for people who are outside the labor market.

Together with colleagues, you work to ensure that the match between participants and workplaces is sustainable and developmental. You provide employers with support before, during, and after placements and contribute to a functioning collaboration.

You need to enjoy taking initiative, building trust, and turning contacts into concrete opportunities. To succeed in the role, you need to be resilient, as the work sometimes involves many contacts before a suitable placement can be arranged.

As a complement to the core assignment, you will also support individuals in need of work-oriented interventions, guidance, and activities to move closer to self-sufficiency. In collaboration with other actors, you create individualized pathways towards work, studies, or other sustainable steps forward.

You need to be able to work in a structured, independent, and solution-focused manner, even when the path forward is not obvious.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have

  • A completed university degree in fields such as Behavioral Science, Personnel and Working Life, Social Work, the Labor Market area, Rehabilitation, or other education that the employer deems relevant.
  • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
  • Good digital skills and the ability to document your work.
  • A valid driver's license (Category B).

It is meritorious if you have experience with

  • Work with employer contacts, matching, recruitment, sales, business services, or labor market interventions.
  • Working with individuals who are somewhat distant from the labor market, receive social assistance, suffer from ill health, have disabilities, have substance abuse issues, have criminal records, face language barriers, or have other support needs.
  • Coordinating interventions between the individual, authorities, internal operations, and employers.
  • Work within municipal labor market operations.
  • Motivational interviewing, Supported Employment, solution-focused approaches, or similar methods.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent.

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) will be requested from the candidate offered the position due to the nature of the work.
