Do you have a sharp eye for anomalous patterns, thrive on pace, and want to play a key role at one of Sweden's most expansive challengers in fintech? We are now looking for 2–3 engaged consultants within Transaction Monitoring (TM) to join a dedicated AML team.

About the role

Our client is a modern Swedish fintech player challenging the traditional banking sector through innovation and speed. To handle increased volume and proactively combat financial crime, the organization's AML department urgently needs to strengthen its team with sharp consultants in transaction monitoring.

We are looking for you who want to step into an environment where a lot is happening, where you are expected to deliver from day one, and where your work makes a direct difference to the business's security and compliance. This is an assignment initially lasting 3–4 months.

This is a consultancy assignment, meaning you will be employed by us and work as a consultant at the client company.

Responsibilities

Your daily focus lies in reviewing, investigating, and handling alerts generated in the bank's transaction monitoring system. The work involves independently driving investigations from start to finish with high quality and efficiency.

• Analyze and investigate transaction alerts (TM investigations) to identify suspected money laundering or terrorist financing.
• Gather and assess supplementary evidence in complex cases.
• Draft and compile high-quality FIPO reports (suspicious transactions) for forwarding to the Financial Police.
• Ensure that all investigations are conducted in accordance with current regulations and internal processes.

We are looking for you who

• Have several years of documented experience in transaction monitoring (TM investigations) and FIPO reporting within banking, finance, or fintech.
• Have a good understanding of flows and financial patterns related to money laundering and fraud.
• Are accustomed to working in specialized AML/TM systems and quickly adapt to new digital tools.
• Thrive with a high influx of cases and are able to deliver with high precision and pace.

It is an advantage if you have

• Previous experience from a fast-moving fintech environment or niche bank.
• Experience with both consumer products (B2C) and corporate products (B2B).
• Post-secondary education in economics, law, or criminology.

Other

A prerequisite for starting the assignment is a passed background check. Therefore, we ask you to order an extract from the criminal record register from the Police now.
