Are you from Italy and want to inspire others by sharing the Italian language and culture? Folkuniversitetet offers language courses from all over the world, and we are constantly developing our course offerings. For the autumn of 2026, we are now looking for an engaged Italian course leader for our courses in Trollhättan.

The Assignment

As a course leader at Folkuniversitetet, you will have the opportunity to both guide and motivate participants in their language development. The assignment involves leading study circles where the teaching is characterized by a communicative approach to language learning and is aimed at both private individuals and corporate clients as well as the public sector. The courses are mainly held in the evenings, 1–2 times per week, during the spring and autumn semesters (January–May and August–December).

Your Competence and Background

We are looking for you who have good knowledge of Italian and an interest in promoting other people's learning and development, regardless of background. Previous experience in teaching adults or leading groups in other ways is an advantage. Good knowledge of Swedish is also a prerequisite for the assignment.

We prefer that you are resident in Trollhättan or the surrounding area.

As a course leader at Folkuniversitetet, you are expected to:

• Have the ability to tailor teaching to individuals and bring out each person's potential.
• Share our view on the equal value of people and their right to knowledge.

Employment Type

• Project-based employment.
• The assignment covers 1–3 courses per semester.
