The Child and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Board and the Primary School Board. The administration is responsible for preschool activities, school-age care, primary school, and adapted primary school. Our most important task is to give all children and students in Huddinge the opportunity to develop to their full potential in a safe educational environment. All our employees play an important role in this.

3 Positions

Preschool I Ur och Skur Kräppla and I Ur och Skur Kungsfågeln are two municipal preschools located near Stuvsta Center. The preschools belong to the Fullersta-Stuvsta-Högmora preschool area. The preschools are located a few hundred meters from the commuter train and bus stops.

Kräppla Preschool is a preschool with four departments co-located with Kräppla School, which is a single-grade lower primary school. They share common facilities both indoors and outdoors, offering a varied and stimulating environment. Kungsfågeln Preschool is a standalone preschool with two departments. Both Kräppla and Kungsfågeln preschools are located in beautiful natural surroundings with large and varied outdoor areas. Much of the activity at both Kräppla and Kungsfågeln takes place outdoors on the preschool yard or in the surrounding area.

We are now looking for childcare workers (Barnskötare) on a temporary basis for the autumn term, starting in August, at preschools I Ur och Skur Kräppla and I Ur och Skur Kungsfågeln.

About the Job

As a childcare worker at our preschools, you work closely with your work team and other colleagues in planning, implementing, and following up on activities. With experience and knowledge of outdoor pedagogy based on "I Ur och Skur," you help create a safe, structured, and stimulating environment for the children, while maintaining a daily and professional dialogue with guardians. You contribute to creating a safe and structured day for the children based on the preschool's working methods and routines. To thrive in this role at our preschools, we see that you are comfortable spending large parts of the day outdoors, as well as in our indoor environments.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working as a childcare worker in a preschool.
• Has documented experience in "I Ur och Skur" pedagogy.
• Has good knowledge of the preschool's steering documents.
• Has good computer skills and is accustomed to using digital tools in pedagogical work.
• Has good knowledge of the Swedish language and expresses yourself well in speech and writing.

The following is considered meritorious:

• Knowledge of language-developing working methods, multilingualism, and children's early language acquisition.
• Education in outdoor pedagogy.
