Work against violence in close relationships

The Employment and Social Services Administration in Lund has made a major investment related to violence in close relationships and established a new unit focusing on this issue.

All investigators are competent to investigate children who have witnessed violence, victims of violence, and perpetrators of violence of all ages. Do you want to be part of this competent team?

About the role and your responsibilities

As an investigating social secretary, your tasks consist of investigations and follow-ups. As needed, you collaborate across boundaries to meet children and families in the best possible way. We engage in genuine social work, taking time to meet people, listen, and see how we can contribute to helping people change. Our work is characterized by high quality, legal certainty, and we constantly strive to find a balance in good working conditions and work environment.

In addition to preparing for the new legislation in the Social Services Act regarding protected accommodation, we in the administration also have an ongoing process work regarding violence in close relationships. The focus of this process work is to improve our working methods and increase the quality of our work. To succeed with this, we value a well-functioning collaboration with various actors regarding children, young people, and adults, and we collaborate broadly with schools, police, healthcare, and other parts of the social services. The unit also handles certain child investigations with other issues.

We are looking for you

We are looking for you who have a degree in social work. You need to have experience in the investigation of children and/or adults within social services, or alternatively from other authority implementation within social services that has contributed to your insight and knowledge about the investigation of children.

Experience with MI, Signs of Safety, SARA, PATRIARK, and/or FREDA is meritorious. We place importance on you being a person who combines your commitment with a calm demeanor and the ability to prioritize and structure your work. At the same time, you have the readiness to shift focus when the needs in the operations change.

You meet people with respect and handle your authority role in a responsible way and always have the child's best interests in focus.

Since the unit conducts ongoing protection assessments regarding violence, you need to be flexible and thrive with changing tasks.

A category B driver's license is required for the position. The position is a temporary assignment for approximately one year.
