Job Description
In the investigation group focusing on Children and Youth, we are now looking for a Child Investigator. Here, you will be part of an ambitious, flexible, and engaged team working for participation, influence, and opportunities. We have an out-of-home care perspective and want to work with children and families where they live and reside.
We are curious about those we meet, each other, and our surroundings. You will receive continuous support in cases from your nearest manager, colleagues, and external process guidance. As a new employee, you will receive an introduction based on your background to feel secure in your new role. Here, you are never alone; we share responsibility and help each other.
You are a particularly good fit for us if you have the ability to create participation among children, young people, and their families, collaborate easily with others with a focus on the child's best interests, love writing and analyzing while being able to prioritize and meet deadlines. However, you will have good support from colleagues and close management.
Qualifications
We are looking for you with a degree in Social Work. It is meritorious if you have at least two years of experience in the social services' authority exercise, preferably directed towards children and young people. You should have good knowledge of the social services' mission and current legislation. Experience with BBIC and the documentation tool LifeCare is meritorious.
You are familiar with current legislation and have good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Previous experience with investigation work within the social services, preferably with adults, is meritorious, but equally important is your personal suitability and interest in the work.
As a person, you are meticulous, independent, and have no difficulty handling changes in conditions and planning at work.
Since we focus heavily on collaboration for the child's best interest, the work involves many contacts, both internally and externally. You should therefore have good cooperation skills, be outgoing, and positive. You should be able to express yourself well both orally and in writing. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. We are looking for you who have a Category B driver's license; travel may occur in the position.
