We are looking for a Childcare Worker specializing in NPF for a private home in central Nyköping.

We are a family with three children aged 4, 9, and 14. We are seeking a secure, mature, and responsible personal assistant or childcare worker who wishes to be an important part of the children's daily lives. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in working with children and who thrives on creating structure, security, and joy in their everyday routines.

Job Responsibilities

As a childcare worker, you will work closely with the family and the children. Your duties include, but are not limited to:

• Pick-up and drop-off of the children.
• Reading homework and support with schoolwork.
• Planning and implementing activities.
• Support in daily routines and personal care.
• Cooking for the children.
• Shopping and lighter household chores.
• Laundry and organizing the children's daily life.
• Creating a calm, safe, and structured environment for the children.
• Planning, initiating, and carrying out meaningful activities adapted to the children's age, interests, and needs.
• Contributing to an stimulating and developmental leisure time through outdoor activities, play, creative activities, physical exercise, and social training.
• Independently creating structure and content in the children's daily life when the parents are not present.

The work is primarily scheduled for afternoons, evenings, and weekends. The position is at least 75% with the possibility of 100%.

NOTE: Start as early as June 2026, and a prerequisite is that you are available to work during the summer of 2026.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Experience working with children.
• Experience working with children with NPF (Neuropsychiatric Functional Impairments), such as autism and/or ADHD.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, preferably also English.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
