Jobbex Omsorg is a private, family-owned care provider in the KFV region. We operate group homes, service apartments, and day activities under the LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) for adults with intellectual disabilities and autism.

About the Group Home

Our group home consists of six apartments and is aimed at adults belonging to person group 1 according to the LSS. The operations are individually adapted and based on clear structure, predictability, and pedagogical support in daily life. The goal is to create meaningful and developmental days where each individual is given the opportunity to strengthen their independence and participation based on their own prerequisites.

In daily life, the work involves being a close support in the user's daily routine. This can include helping with morning routines, meals, activities, shopping, structuring the day, and providing social and pedagogical support in both calm and more challenging situations. The work takes place in small settings, allowing time for relationships, predictability, and continuity.

The facility is located in Baggetorp, less than 10 minutes from Katrineholm by car. We are primarily looking for someone who lives in the neighboring municipalities and wants to work locally in a smaller, cohesive operation where continuity, collaboration, and relationships are an important part of the quality of support.

About the Role of Support Assistant

As a support assistant in our group home, you work closely with the users in their daily lives. You are calm and clear, creating structure, motivating, and adapting support based on the individual's needs, daily condition, and development.

The role is varied and responsible, involving active participation in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of pedagogical work. In our operations, we sometimes encounter individuals with challenging behavior, which requires you to be calm, secure, and professional in your approach. The work is carried out using low-arousal and preventive methods, clear routines, and close collaboration with colleagues and managers.

Examples of tasks:

• Provide pedagogical and individually adapted support in daily activities

• Create and maintain structure, routines, and clarity

• Strengthen the individual's independence, participation, and motivation

• Document according to current routines and legislation

• Collaborate with colleagues, managers, and if necessary, relatives or other actors

Requirements for the Position

• Experience working in LSS operations with adults in person group 1

• Trained nursing assistant or equivalent relevant education

• Class B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles

• Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written

Merits

Employment Type

Summer Temporary Position

Working Hours: Rolling schedule with day, evening, and weekend shifts, as well as sleeping nights.

Employment Level: Summer schedule.

Salary and Terms: Individual salary according to agreement, other benefits according to collective agreement.

Start Date: According to agreement.
