ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for a young man with extensive disabilities due to severe cerebral palsy and epilepsy. He needs support in daily life with everything from care, tube feeding, and transfers to creating meaningful and content-rich days. You are cheerful, responsible, have a big heart, and are driven by making a difference in someone else's daily life. At this workplace, you always work together with a colleague in double assistance, which provides a secure and cohesive team.

YOU WHO ARE APPLYING

• Can handle both calm moments and stressful situations (e.g., during epileptic seizures).
• Have good Swedish skills in speech and writing.
• Are sensitive and attentive to non-verbal communication.
• Can handle physically demanding tasks. Assistive devices are available, but it is still a physical job.
• Are not allergic to cats and do not smoke during working hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in healthcare and care.
• You are a competent swimmer.
• You can step in with short notice in case of illness.

A driver's license is not a requirement, but if you live far from the workplace, it is a great advantage.

HOURS AND PERCENTAGE

Parental leave substitute position for approx. 55% starting in August for nine months, with the possibility of extension. Working hours are 16:00-22:30. Perfect for you who are studying or have another job during the day. Possibility to work extra if needed immediately.

SALARY

At Vivida, you as an assistant receive a fixed base hourly salary + holiday pay and possible shift allowance. Collective agreement applies.

START DATE

Extra help needed as soon as possible. The parental leave substitute position starts in August.
