Job Description
Do you want a central role in an operation where you make a real difference for people in need of support?
We are now looking for an engaged and confident social worker for our intake function.
With us, you will become an important first contact within the social services and take on a responsible role in public administration, where you meet people in different life situations. In this role, you handle cases regarding children and families, substance abuse, financial assistance, and violence in close relationships, while also receiving applications and reports, conducting preliminary and protective assessments, and initiating investigations.
You also prepare statements and, in some cases, application investigations. As part of a smaller unit, you will have a varied and developmental assignment in a fast-paced operation with close collaboration and great opportunities to contribute to the continued development of the intake function within IFO.
We are currently carrying out several exciting development projects based on new legislation, so it is important that you, as an applicant, want to be part of this journey of change. It is an exciting phase where we renew and improve our working methods and approaches.
The assignment also includes exciting and outward-facing collaboration work where you have contact with, among others, the police, schools, associations, and other actors, as you will belong to the first-line social services. The role gives you the opportunity to work closely with both individuals and collaboration partners, be out in various contexts, and contribute to early interventions and coordinated support for those we meet.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are educated as a social worker or have another equivalent university education, with experience in public administration and good knowledge of relevant legislation. Experience working in the adult area, children and family, or the substance abuse area, as well as knowledge of BBIC or Signs of Safety, is meritorious. The role suits you who are responsible, solution-focused, and good at collaborating, while also being able to make well-founded decisions independently even at a high pace. You work structured, securely, and legally safely, have good documentation habits, and a professional approach that creates trust in the meeting with those we are there for. You take responsibility, work independently, and actively contribute to both quality, development, and a good work community.
In the reception, you will work closely with both colleagues and management in an operation where engagement, development, and collaboration are in focus. Here you get the opportunity to influence and make a real difference.
Do you want to be part of making a difference in people's everyday lives? We warmly welcome your application!
We strive for a balanced gender distribution. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability. A driver's license is required.
Selection and interviews take place continuously, and the recruitment may therefore be concluded before the application deadline ends.
Terms of Employment
- Salary: Monthly salary.
- Employment type: Permanent position.
- Duration: Permanent.
- Working hours: Daytime. The workplace offers a 35-hour work week and the possibility of remote work 1 day/week.
The appointment to the position will be based on the information you provide, so it is of utmost importance that you are careful when filling out your application. We see diversity as a strength and therefore welcome applicants with different backgrounds.
We make active choices regarding advertising platforms, support, and selection methods for each recruitment. Once we have published an advertisement, we will therefore not purchase services or advertisements for an ongoing recruitment, which is why we decline such contacts.
