About the role
As a 3D Developer, you will design and further develop robust 3D pipelines and technical solutions that handle large amounts of data and visual assets. You will work closely with both developers and creatives to ensure efficient workflows and high quality in deliverables. At the same time, you will have the space to experiment with new technologies and continuously improve systems and processes.

Responsibilities
- Design and maintain 3D pipelines and tools.
- Develop and optimize 3D models, shaders, and images for various platforms.
- Identify and implement improvements to existing systems.
- Engage in agile development and deliver technical solutions.
- Code for both new initiatives and ongoing 3D projects.
- Contribute to complex 3D workflows.
- Collaborate closely with product owners and 3D artists.
We are looking for someone who
- Has relevant post-secondary IT education, preferably in computer science, technical physics, game programming, or similar.
- Has at least 3 years of experience in technical 3D development.
- Has very good knowledge of Python and C++.
- Has experience building and maintaining 3D pipelines, preferably in USD (Universal Scene Description).
- Has experience with DCC tools (e.g., Houdini, Maya, Blender) or game engines (Unreal Engine/Unity).
- Is fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
It is an advantage if you have
- A background in game development or the VFX industry.
- Understanding of shading models.
- Experience with real-time or offline graphics, or Computer-Generated Imagery (CGI).
- Knowledge of Material X.
- Knowledge of Rust or cloud solutions (Azure).
