IGT in Växjö is now looking for a System Developer who wants to help further develop the platform on which our games run.

Here, both games and the systems that drive them are developed – from backend and integrations to functionality that communicates with gaming platforms and hardware.

Your Responsibilities

As a System Developer at IGT, you work with backend and platform development in C#/.NET and play a key role in ensuring that our games run stably, securely, and efficiently in markets around the world.

You do not primarily work with the games themselves, but with the systems and the platform that make the games possible. This can involve communication between different systems, integrations, handling of game data, transactions, configurations, and functionality that communicates directly with the hardware in our slot machines.

The role is broad and varied, with many touchpoints and a wide technical scope.

You will, among other things:

• develop and further develop backend and platform solutions in C#/.NET
• work with integrations and communication between different systems
• develop functionality related to transactions, game data, and configuration
• work closely with hardware-centric systems and communication towards the gaming platform
• contribute to improved code quality, architecture, and technical practices
• collaborate with developers, testers, and other technical specialists

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in system development and find it just as exciting to understand how different systems interact as it is to write the code itself.

You have good knowledge of C# and .NET and enjoy analyzing problems, debugging, and understanding technical flows from database to application and integration.

We believe you have experience and interest in one or more of the following:

• backend development in C#/.NET
• APIs and integrations
• databases and data modeling
• system architecture and technical flows
• debugging and problem-solving in complex system environments

C++, SQL, and experience with hardware-centric development are meritorious.

The most important thing is that you have strong technical drive, want to develop, and enjoy understanding how systems work at a deep level.
