Within Information Technology, we currently have approximately 140 employees with various professional backgrounds distributed across 9 departments. We are located in shared premises at the Sigfridsområdet area in Växjö. There is a wonderful sense of community in our workplace, and we are keen on creating the best possible well-being.
About the Role
As an IT Object Manager/Project Manager, you belong to the IT Security and Infrastructure department. The department consists of 15 employees with roles such as infrastructure specialists and object managers. The department's joint mandate is to develop a purposeful, robust, and secure IT infrastructure for the entire organization.

Responsibilities
Digital development is at the forefront at Region Kronoberg, and as an IT Object Manager, you play a key role in the digitalization efforts by leading the technology-related work within one or more management objects.
You work systematically and long-term to ensure the organization's need for appropriate technical support, and you will be involved in the entire lifecycle, from needs assessment to decommissioning. You are responsible for planning, leading, and monitoring the implementation of the object plan's goals together with the various specialists of the objects.
Since solutions and services often span multiple objects, collaboration between different management objects is very common and a key factor for a successful result.
Region Kronoberg faces many exciting challenges in the IT field. You will have the opportunity to lead both transformative assignments and necessary maintenance work, as well as assignments with a wide scope ranging from deep technology to user support. In the role, your first assignment will be to lead the development of services and technical platforms in the digital workplace for Region Kronoberg's employees.
Qualifications
- You have strong collaboration skills and are accustomed to working in teams. By being clear and communicative, you are good at leading and coaching others, while contributing to a positive and solution-focused dialogue.
- You have experience working as a project manager and/or IT asset manager, along with a relevant university or college education.
- You are familiar with ITIL and PM3, and have experience in some type of development work in a leadership position.
- To succeed in the role, we see that you are curious, driven, proactive, and meticulous. You are flexible and receptive while understanding the importance of structure. You need to thrive in a changing and complex organization.
- Fluent Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement.
