Are you experienced in business-driven and structured IT support, with the ability to work both strategically and operationally? Then we want you to become part of our team as we now seek the role of IT Manager with a focus on taking our IT to the next level.
Burde Publishing is the rebel that became the largest in the industry. We are on an exciting journey, where our goal is for every individual to reach their full potential, evolving from a leading Nordic calendar producer to a broad, inspiring lifestyle company with high international ambitions. With over 30 years of experience creating custom-designed products for planning, structure, and well-being, we continue to develop our range to meet how people want to live, work, and organize their lives today.
About the Role
At Burde Publishing, we are now looking for an experienced IT Manager who wants to help shape our global growth strategy. In this role, you have overall responsibility for further developing and managing established methods for IT governance, as well as prioritizing and driving major IT change and development projects. You are also responsible for ensuring that existing system ownership functions effectively in practice and that our IT structure is secure. As IT Manager, you will serve as an advisor to the executive management on IT and digitalization issues.
Burde Publishing has a strong focus on AI, and in this role, you are responsible for further developing, integrating, and scaling our AI initiatives within the organization, prioritizing them based on business value.
You have personnel responsibility for our IT team, where you work closely with three other IT colleagues who work as AI Engineers and Full Stack Developers. You report to the CEO.
About You
We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience as an IT Manager. Alternatively, you have a few years of experience as a developer and currently work in a more overarching IT role with personnel and budget responsibility. You have experience from expanding companies and have a strong understanding of business processes and how IT can best support them. It is important that you have in-depth technical understanding and project management experience, as well as experience from AI development projects.
As a person, you are solution-focused, communicative, and enjoy working both strategically and operationally. Structure and responsibility are important qualities for the role, along with your experience in leading and coordinating IT teams. You thrive in a dynamic environment where we work together to solve tasks. You speak and write Swedish and English fluently.
About Us
We are a dynamic organization where creativity, engagement, and innovation are at the center. In our offices in Växjö, Copenhagen, Oslo, and Helsinki, 55 employees work on developing the next generation of products. At our headquarters in Växjö, much is done in-house – from design and product development to parts of the production – which gives us the opportunity to quickly realize new ideas.
Our products are available in over 3,000 stores and e-commerce platforms in the Nordics and now also reach rapidly growing markets in Europe and the USA. As the market leader in the Nordics, we sell more than 9 million calendars annually – and the demand for our undated and lifestyle-driven products is increasing strongly.
Sustainability is a natural part of everything we do, from the first sketch to the finished product. Our goal is to create smart, beautiful, and sustainable products that help people get more out of their daily lives – and their lifestyle.
