Project Leader - Process & Capability Hub

Job summary

· You will support our stakeholders by simultaneously leading and/or being part of the execution of several medium and high complexity Process Epics (PEPICs) and Capability Epics (CEPICS) assigned to you.

· These can range from refinement until full realization of the intended outcomes.

· You will work in a truly global environment and lead multi-disciplinary teams of high-performing individuals from across businesses to drive change.

• Ability to follow through on commitments and keep momentum by being proactive, prioritizing, delegating, and escalating when needed.
• Experience with roadmaps, planning and management of dependencies, and how to get things done in a large organization based on agile principles.
• Comfortable working in iterative environments where problem space and solution space evolve over time.

Responsibilities & tasks

• Facilitate stakeholder dialogues to align PEPIC(s) with long-term business value and OKRs.
• Drive cross-process and capability collaboration toward expected outcomes.
• Ensure PEPIC/CEPIC readiness for discussion, prioritization, and decision-making with the Business Owner (PEPIC/CEPIC Owner).
• Identify and manage reprioritization needs and escalations.
• Secure alignment between stakeholders across Inter IKEA Group.
• Empower capability and product areas with clarity and direction.
• Proactively engage stakeholders to drive impact and lead others effectively.
• Lead or support PEPICs/CEPICs from initiation to implementation using a fact-based approach.
• Manage assignments within scope, time, and cost using relevant methods and tools.
• Strive for effective and efficient ways of working.
• Manage dependencies, interfaces, risks, and quality according to requirements.
• Drive change management for successful implementation.
• Control procurement of resources and services as needed.
• Support stakeholders in accelerating strategic business development.

Specifics for Project Leaders

To succeed in these roles, you have a solid business understanding and background, as well as strong skills and experience in working with medium complex projects across multiple functional areas, and strong knowledge of key business development processes and when to apply them.

Strong knowledge and understanding of Project Management knowledge areas, methods, and tools, Change Management, and Project Governance structures.

Performance indicators

Relevant sources of Performance Indicators to help clarify expectations and give inputs to goal setting (e.g., long-term goals of the assignment)

• EPIC/PEPICs delivered in scope & with high quality, on time and within budget according to the assignment.
• Project stakeholders' overall satisfaction.
