Your Role as an Analyst at Combitech in Växjö

As an Analyst at Combitech Security Operation Center (CSOC), you will be part of a team of competent individuals who all share the same passion for IT security. As an analyst, you will analyze security events. You will also participate in the development of Combitech SOC's work regarding IT incident management. You will work on and develop the center's capabilities for active work with related security concepts such as vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, infrastructure management, threat intelligence, and much more.

CSOC is in operational mode 24/7, year-round. The role involves working on a rotating 24/7 schedule where some shifts involve working alone.

Who are you?

You have several years of experience working in IT and network technology. We also prefer that you have a relevant academic education. In addition, you have good knowledge in at least one of the following areas; IT forensics and traffic analysis, technical security functions (firewalls, IDS, antivirus), virtualization, operating systems, or system development.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel and Defender, as well as the structure of different IT environments, programming/scripting, or data visualization. Previous experience from working in a SOC is a plus, as is good knowledge of networks or experience operating large IT environments.

The role of Analyst places high demands on integrity, judgment, and endurance. Therefore, you must be good at planning and organizing your work, enjoy digging into data to find deviations or abnormal patterns, and be thorough and persistent in this. Delivering with quality is a given for you.

You have the ability to see what needs to be done and take charge of it. You remain calm and composed and can prioritize even when there is a lot to do. You collaborate easily with colleagues, are service-oriented, and want to contribute to delivering solutions. It is important to you to maintain your specialist knowledge in the field, and you can effectively serve as a knowledge resource for others.

As the role involves work covered by defense secrecy, you must undergo and pass a security investigation with register check.
