At Aveki, we develop the Energy and Water/Wastewater Bank (Energi- och VA-banken), a GIS-based business system for customers in the energy and water/wastewater sector. We are now looking for a technical consultant to join our team in Växjö.

About the Role

As a technical consultant at Aveki, you work with the installation, implementation, and upgrade of the Energy and Water/Wastewater Bank in our customers' IT environments. The role is broad and technically varied, involving everything from database management and integrations to upgrades and troubleshooting.

In your work, you maintain ongoing contact with customers regarding installations, upgrades, and technical solutions. Some tasks involve planned implementations and new versions, while others focus on analyzing problems and finding the right path forward in complex system environments.

You work closely with both the development team and colleagues during implementations and technical projects at the customer site.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will, among other things, work with:

• Installation and upgrade of the Energy and Water/Wastewater Bank
• Integrations between our business system and other systems or databases
• Data conversion and database management
• System testing and verification in connection with new versions
• Technical troubleshooting and analysis in customers' system environments
• Customer dialogue regarding implementations and technical solutions

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for you who have an IT technical background, for example in system administration, networking, databases, or technical operations. You have worked in IT for a few years and are accustomed to troubleshooting, analyzing, and finding solutions in technical environments where several components need to work together. Experience with databases, such as SQL Server, is an advantage.

Since the role involves close contact with customers in connection with installations, upgrades, and implementations, it is important that you can communicate clearly and professionally, both with technically knowledgeable users and people with less technical background. You must be able to express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

As a person, you are solution-oriented, analytical, and structured. You enjoy diving into technical problems and working methodically to find sustainable solutions, even when the path forward is not obvious. At the same time, you value collaboration with colleagues and have a genuine interest in technology and development.
