IGT Sweden Interactive AB in Växjö creates, develops, and delivers world-class casino games. IGT is a global company that develops and maintains complete software solutions for server-based gaming machines. Things are going well for IGT, and they now need to expand their testing team in Växjö with a Software Tester.

Your Responsibilities

As a Software Tester at IGT, you will join and work in various development projects where your primary responsibility is to identify and report system defects in JIRA through testing. In this role, you will perform systematic testing on both existing and newly produced products.

In the role of Software Tester, you will also:

• Maintain and improve existing test data.
• Monitor reported issues and report when they are resolved.
• Report inconsistencies in the software.
• Work on improvements together with the development team.

There are 45 colleagues at the Växjö office with whom you will work closely on a daily basis, and as a Software Tester, you will report directly to the responsible manager in Växjö. At IGT, you will work in a successful and energetic team where, as a Software Tester, you will develop games for the European market together with the rest of the functions within the organization. As a Software Tester, you are part of a group of 10 people.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have experience in software testing from previous professional roles or relevant education. In your work, you are driven by finding solutions to technical problems and understand the importance of focused and quality-assuring work. As a colleague, you have good collaboration skills and understand the importance of finding the right path in each individual project through communication. We would prefer that you speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English.

As a person, you are meticulous, analytical, and structured. Furthermore, you are responsible and creative in your approach and enjoy constantly developing your competence in software testing. To thrive at IGT, you are a team player who enjoys working on various projects where, as an employee, you need to collaborate with several contact points.

We see that you who apply have the following qualifications:

• Experience in software testing from previous work or relevant education.
• Communicates effortlessly in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of SQL.

If you have previous experience with test automation for both web products and in Windows environments and/or tool experience from, for example, JIRA, Confluence, this is considered an advantage for the position.
