Your Responsibilities

In the role of Communicator, you have a varied assignment with a focus on operational communication work in digital channels. Your main tasks involve creating, tailoring to target groups, and publishing material for both internal and external communication.

You produce content for social media, with a focus on image and film, light editing, and accompanying post texts. Creating, managing, and optimizing advertising in the most common social media platforms should be your specialty. Working with the website and our intranet, writing news, proofreading texts, and producing simpler presentations will also be part of your daily routine. You will work with the entire organization as your field – where you, among other things, act as a communication support to HR and support our other administrations. You may also act as a communicator in larger communication projects.

The job is outward-facing and involves visiting our operations to meet people, either accompanied by colleagues or in more formal contexts with politicians. In these instances, you are responsible for photography and gathering material. The role also entails significant personal responsibility for managing our paid campaigns on social media.

You regularly participate in different project groups and networks, both within your own unit and cross-functionally with colleagues in other administrations.

Your Workplace

Communication Service is the municipality's internal communication agency, offering communication services to the municipality's operations and companies. Here, we help from idea to finished production. This includes film, photography, and animation, sound production, graphic design, e-learning, writing tasks, accessibility adjustments of certain documents, web publishing, web training, and advertising via social media.

We are located in modern premises in Ebbepark. We apply trust-based working hours and remote work of up to two days a week when operations allow. Some work will take place during inconvenient hours.

You Who Apply

We are now looking for a curious and engaged communicator. We are looking for you who have a university degree in communication and media, or alternatively, other education that the employer deems equivalent.

You have several years of experience working with communication both internally and externally. You also have experience producing texts and other content for publication in digital channels and social media, as well as experience publishing and optimizing campaigns in the most common social media channels. We also see that you have experience working with web publishing tools such as SiteVision. You have the ability to follow a given graphic profile, as well as knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud or a similar program.

Furthermore, we would appreciate if you have experience in project management or have been a driving force in project participation within communication. It is a plus if you have previously worked with communication related to HR issues, strategic communication work, and have prior experience working in a politically governed organization. You preferably also have experience in film and sound production and creative copywriting.

For this position, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, as you will produce material in Swedish. We consider it an advantage if you have a B-driver's license, as the work involves traveling to different locations for reports and recordings.
