A well-established supported housing facility with approximately 10 employees is seeking a Treatment Pedagogue for our collective housing unit.

We keep the name of the organization confidential to protect the location of our operations. Candidates invited for an interview will be informed of the specific name and location of the supported housing facility.

The work takes place at our collective housing unit located in Southern Scania (Mellanskåne).

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

The supported housing facility consists of both a 24/7 staffed collective housing unit and individual apartments. Due to licensing requirements and new framework agreements, the organization is entering an exciting phase of development with good opportunities for growth within an expanding organization.

The collective housing unit receives women seeking protection from groups affected by domestic violence and honor-based violence and oppression. Children and animals are also welcome as those seeking protection, accompanying their adult guardian. Staff members are permitted to bring dogs to the office.

The staff has collaboratively developed a value base characterized by commitment, care, knowledge, and communication.

ABOUT YOU

You are a secure and clear-headed person with excellent collaboration skills and a service-oriented attitude. As a person, you are communicative and professional in your interactions, and you value building long-term relationships that create trust. We prefer that you have several years of experience from either residential care homes (HVB) or supported housing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support those seeking protection in establishing safety plans according to our routines and checklists.
• Work in a motivating and supportive manner with women and children in crisis.
• Write implementation plans, monthly reports, and social documentation.
• The role includes some cleaning and household duties.
• Carry out treatment work according to implementation plans and decided interventions.
• Actively participate in treatment conferences, supervision, and follow-ups.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this role, you must have:

• At least one year of work experience in supported housing or similar operations, such as HVB.
• Relevant post-secondary education of at least 2.5 years, such as Treatment Pedagogue, Social Worker, or Behavioral Scientist. Please note that a Criminologist degree is not considered a relevant qualification.
• Ability to pass the mandatory police background check.
• Valid B-class driver's license.
