RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of mother tongue teacher, you teach students in Hungarian as their mother tongue and simultaneously contribute to the pedagogical development work within the subject. We are looking for you who have extensive teaching experience and a good understanding of the school's organization, governing documents, and working methods.

You know how the school works in practice.

At our Multilingualism Unit, we work based on themes. This means that all mother tongue teachers jointly start from selected themes that form the basis for teaching in all mother tongues. By working with the same theme across language boundaries, we create a red thread for our students and rich opportunities for collegial collaboration. You are expected to implement these common themes in your teaching based on the curriculum goals.

The collegial work is currently scheduled for Tuesdays.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

• Have very good knowledge of Hungarian, both linguistically and culturally.
• Have very good knowledge of the Swedish language (equivalent to Swedish 3/Swedish as a Second Language 3) as collaboration and documentation take place in Swedish.
• Have extensive teaching experience and are well acquainted with the Swedish school's governing documents (Lgr22).
• Have the ability to work thematically. You can plan and conduct teaching based on common themes and see synergies between different subject areas.
• Are development-oriented and see collegial learning as a natural part of your work.
• Have personal suitability for the assignment, where we particularly value your ability to create good relationships with students and colleagues.

Desirable: It is desirable that you have a Swedish teaching license with eligibility in Hungarian as a mother tongue.

Meritorious: Has academic education with a pedagogical focus.
