Music Teacher 60–100% sought for Nordic International School Norrköping

Do you want to inspire students through music while contributing to further development? We are now looking for an engaged and creative music teacher for our school!

The position involves approximately 60% teaching in music for grades 4–9. In addition to teaching, we would appreciate it if you have an interest in further developing the school's music life together with the students.

As a music teacher with us, you will have the opportunity to combine teaching with creative development work. We would like you to:

  • Start and lead a school choir

  • Set up and run a music club together with the students

  • Create inspiring environments where students can express themselves through music

  • Contribute to students' aesthetic development and joy of creation

Your Role

You lead the work in the classroom with a warm and clear hand, and your leadership is characterized by presence and inclusion.

🌟 Your main responsibility consists of teaching music in primary and lower secondary school (grades 4-9), where you plan, conduct, and evaluate your own teaching. Naturally, you are open to both giving and receiving feedback on your teaching, and you constantly strive to develop as a teacher.

🌟 Mentorship is included in the position.

✔ Qualifications in relevant subjects.

Conditions

  • Employment type: Permanent. Probation period applies.

  • Percentage of full-time: 60–100% depending on competence. The position consists of 60% music teaching and 20–40% for the development of the school's music club (choir, instrumental school, production, and collaborations).

  • Start date: August 3, 2026.
