The position is located within the Social Services Administration, which is one of eight administrations in Linköping Municipality. The Social Services Administration is responsible for authority exercises, commissioning of measures, and own management within the areas of individual and family care, LSS (Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), and social psychiatry. Your responsibilities

In the role of Adult Pedagogue at Landeryds Ängar, you work with change and motivation work for adults living with complex co-occurring disorders, which means mental impairment combined with harmful use or addiction.

You work to support the individual towards increased independence, structure in daily life, and a functioning life situation based on the individual's needs and goals. Measures are designed together with the resident through implementation plans and contact person support, with a focus on creating security, participation, and long-term change.

The work includes support in everyday situations, motivation work, coordination, and contact with authorities, healthcare, and other collaboration partners. You work from a low-affective and professional approach where respect for the individual's self-determination and integrity is a clear part of the assignment.

The operations work with evidence-based methods such as MI (Motivational Interviewing), ESL (An Independent Life), relapse prevention, and Case Management. The work also includes medication management and drug screening after completed training and delegation from a nurse.

Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, weekend, and sleeping on-call duty.

Your workplace

Landeryds Ängar is a housing with special service for persons with psychotic illness combined with addiction issues. The housing has 13 places and is of the type row house housing with its own entrance on the ground floor. In the common area, there is the opportunity to eat together with others, watch TV, paint, craft, and do carpentry in the hobby room. At Landeryds Ängar, there is also a gym and a massage room/rest room. The housing offers activities and excursions decided together with the residents.

The operations are conducted in collaboration with Region Östergötland, doctors, and a psychiatric nurse connected to the housing. The staff group consists of 14 employees and a group leader. Staff is available around the clock with double staffing during the night.

You who apply

We are looking for you who have a degree as an occupational therapist, social worker, behavioral scientist, or other education that the employer considers equivalent.

You have experience working with adults living with complex co-occurring disorders. It is meritorious if you have experience working with SIP (Social and Health Care Integration) as well as collaboration with specialist psychiatry, addiction medicine, and social services.

We would like you to have education or experience in methods such as MI, ESL, low-affective handling, relapse prevention, and Case Management.

For the position, a B-driver's license for manual transmission and good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing are required. You also need to have the ability and willingness to undergo digital medication training and obtain delegation for medication management and drug screening.

As a person, you are secure and stable with good self-insight. You have a professional approach, are flexible, and have the ability to remain calm even in pressured situations. You collaborate well with others and adapt easily to changed needs and situations.
