Your responsibilities

• Work with planning, teaching, evaluation, and values-based work based on the national curriculum.
• Work both independently and in collaboration with your colleagues.
• View the student's entire school day as an important whole.
• Collaborate around the student with both guardians and colleagues.
• Cooperate between the school and the after-school center to achieve higher goal fulfillment and create the best possible conditions for each student.
• Base your work on the student group you meet and create varied and challenging teaching.
• Use digital tools as a natural part of your teaching.
• Promote collegial learning through discussion and reflection at both planned and spontaneous times.
• Leverage the experience and knowledge of different professions to benefit students' learning as well as your own and the organization's development.

Your workplace

Nykil School is located in the heart of the Nykil community and houses activities from preschool class to grade 6. Approximately 210 students attend here, contributing to a pleasant and family-like school environment. The school consists of several buildings and has a large playground with its own school forest, which we utilize by actively using nature to inspire play and outdoor pedagogy. For us, the landscape around the school is more than just a beautiful view; here you will work in an environment where nature is a living classroom.

In your role, you have your base in a class, which creates security for both the children and yourself, but you operate in a context where collaboration with colleagues is central. We create good relationships, which is reflected in our good results. We want our students to develop into secure and independent people who believe in themselves and see possibilities.

You who apply

We primarily seek you who have teacher certification with eligibility to teach in grades Preschool Class to 3 (F-3). Secondarily, we seek you with a completed teacher education for grades F-3. Alternatively, you are at the end of your teacher education for grades F-3.

It is a requirement that you have experience working in a curriculum-based school through practice or employment. It is meritorious if you have taught in grade F-3 for at least one school year.

In your role as a teacher in grades F-3, you have good knowledge of the school's mission and are well acquainted with the curriculum (Lgr22) and other regulatory documents. You have good communicative skills in spoken and written Swedish. This is because, according to the curriculum (Lgr22), you must organize and carry out work so that the student receives support in their language and communication development. You are responsible for ensuring that each student can use the Swedish language in a rich and nuanced way.

As a teacher in grades F-3, you are a good role model. You have the ability to adapt your teaching to the students and allow them to be involved in the design of the teaching. In a quality-conscious manner, you create good conditions for the student's development and learning and document this. You collaborate well with colleagues, guardians, and other contacts in society that occur in your professional role.
